Bohr_PinnellSabrina Pinell began dancing at the age of twelve, studying at the Shawl-Anderson Dance Company where she excelled at both dance and choreography. She later joined the Harambee Pan-African Dance Ensemble performing from 1992 – 1997. She has performed with Grupo de Capoeira, Fogo Na Roupa, Carnavelsco, and most recently with Aqui e Agora from 2008 – 2012.

Sabrina enjoys the inseparable marriage between song, music and dance that interweave to form a beautiful union.  She was introduced to song and music by her grandfather, a  self-taught guitarist.  When Sabrina is not dancing you can find her reading, cycling or exploring the outdoors.  Sabrina feels that “dance is one of the most beautiful forms of communication.”

Eric Bohr is a painter and writer, living and working in Oakland. He studied painting with Michael Jacobs in Venice California and has been writing poetry from an early age. He is a member of Mercury 20 Gallery, and Ragged Wing Ensemble’s Visual Art Core.
