Maw Shein Win’s writing has appeared in various journals including Cimarron Review, Ping-Pong, and vitriol, and she has work forthcoming in the anthology Cross-Strokes (Otis Books/Seismicity Editions). She is a poetry editor for Rivet and was an Artist In Residence at the Headlands Center for the Arts. Win often collaborates with visual artists and musicians, and her chapbook, Ruins of a glittering palace, was published by SPA/Commonwealth Projects. Along with composer, Amanda Chaudhary, she is part of musical duo Pitta of the Mind which combines poetry with abstract electronic music. She is a member of the San Francisco Writers’ Grotto.
Sharon Coleman performed modern and ballet throughout the Bay Area with Colin Russell’s San Mateo Dance Theater and toured in Australia with Ballet Celeste. With Bloco des Amigos, she performed samba in San Francisco and the East Bay. She is a published poet and writer. Her chapbook of poetry Half Circle came out 2013 and her book of blink fictions, Paris Blinks, will be published in a few months. She teaches writing at Berkeley City College and co-curates the Berkeley Poetry Festival and the reading series Lyrics & Dirges.
